WORK EXPERIENCE

Jaime is a highly skilled craftsman and art restorer with nearly 50 years of experience. He is well known for his work of cosmetic restoration and conservation in materials like terracotta, stone, several types of metals, and wood. As a restorer of antiquities, he has worked on pieces from the five continents, including works from Pre-Columbian Art, African and Tribal Art, Classical, Egyptian and Asian Antiquities.

Restoring a piece of art is a delicate and unique work in which Jaime applies the knowledge acquired during the nearly 50 years he has dedicated to the art of restoration. Throughout his career, he has worked for several companies, galleries, and private collectors well known in the North East United States.

His work includes disaster recovery restoration usually resulting due to shipping accidents or any other damage to art pieces.

Jaime is willing to travel in order to meet the needs of his clients.
